Nazirabad Thanda : ウィキペディア英語版 | Nazirabad Thanda
Nazirabad Thanda is a tribal village under Pargi jurisdiction in Rangareddy District, in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The name ''Thanda'' derives from the fact that only Lambadi(Banjara) community people live there. The population is greater than 1,000 people. == Origins ==
An accurate history of Lambanis or Lambadis or Banjaras is not available, but the general consensus is that they fought for Prithvi Raj against Muhammad of Ghor. Lambanis originally were Rajputs who migrated to southern parts of India for trade and agriculture. They settled in the southern or central area and slowly detached themselves from Rajasthan. Over time, the Lambanis adopted the local culture. The Banjara are, together with the Domba, sometimes called the "Gypsies of India".
